Each room is individually designed to blend sympathetically with the original structure of the farmhouse building. Whitton Lodge was once part of the Hardwick Estate and used as a working Stud Farm for the Estates horses. Local country pub with letting rooms, informal restaurant, and bar. 10 minutes from J29 on the M1. All rooms are en-suite with internet access and coffee and tea facilities. Our restaurant and bar are modern and stylish whilst still managing to retain their rustic charm. We serve simple local meals using local produce where possible. Meals are served from 12 till 9 and can be taken in rooms if required. We always have 5 cask ales on tap and a detailed wine list, with a selection of wine imported for ourselves. We can offer business meeting facilities for up to 60 seated and 100 for presentation style.

Our accommodation comprises of just 6 cozy rooms, 4 king size doubles and 2 single rooms. All double rooms are individually furnished with king size doubles and include radio, clock, tea and coffee tray. Our pub allows you to relax in and whilst ever Stacey looks after the bedrooms and yours truly (Andy) does everything else (!) we think we’ve got the system beaten! Under 18′s MUST be accompanied by a parent due to licensing laws!

Our splendid Georgian grade 11 listed Manor House is only minutes from the centre of Chesterfield, and is easily found from junctions 29 and 30 of the M1.
